We are delighted to announce that the Call for Abstracts for the 14th OpenTESOL International Hybrid Conference 2026 is now open. This year’s conference will be held both online and onsite on 22 – 23 May 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. OpenTESOL 2026 conference is dedicated to explore the multifaceted nature of language education, emphasizing the importance of diversity, learner agency, and personal growth. By fostering intercultural understanding and critical thinking, we aim to empower language learners and educators alike.
Co-organized by The Graduate School and Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Vietnam, OpenTESOL 2026 is proud to be an important venue for all participants’ continuous professional development.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
After the presenters are informed of their accepted abstracts, they can prepare and submit the full papers for consideration in the conference proceedings (with an ISBN) by late October 2026. The paper could be research-based, practice-based, or conceptual. The full paper must be around 5000 words (+- 10%, excluding the title, references, and appendices). More details regarding the conference proceedings procedure will be updated soon.
